Nutrition Facts for grass-fed beef

Our beef is all natural, antibiotic free with no added hormones.
Cattle finished on grass have significantly higher levels of beta-carotene content than animals finished in a feedlot. In 1997, Alabama Agriculture Experiment Station reported findings in 100 grams of beef:

Antioxidant: Beta Carotene
Beta-carotene: Steak Hamburger
Grass-fed beef 64 mg 87 mg
Feedlot fed beef 36 mg 41 mg
Cholesterol: About Good Fat

Current research shows that an increase in the ratio of Omega-3 and Omega-6 series of fatty acids in the human diet reduces the incidences of coronary heart diseases, some cancers and other related diseases.

Studies at Hillsborough Research Institute showed cattle that are grass-fed and finished on pasture had a ration of Omega-3 to Omega-6 series four times greater than beef cattle finished on feedlot diets.
